To post payments or charges from the Posting Application a Control must be open Opening a New Control
- Open the Posting Application
- Select the New Button to open a new control
- This will create a new control number
- Control Number - this will be the next number in order
- Control User - this will be the user that just opened the control
- Control Date - this will default to the date the control is open, it can be edited to another day, as long as it is a date in the past
- The control is now open and ready for posting
