How do I change an account number?

Steps to change account number

In order to be able to change an account number in MedEvolve users must have the extended right under Account Information in Enterprise Rights under Security. 

To change the account number follow below steps

  • Bring up account
  • Click inside of the account number field
  • Select the change account number icon (two arrows circling outside of #)
  • Once selected the icon to the left of this icon will then become available. This is the Generate Next Account Number icon. 

  • Select this icon and the number will change to reflect the newest number in sequence (for all accounts). Then select Apply

    ***Please note: If you have filed claims for this account that have not yet been paid this may affect auto posting ERA for that claim since the claim key will no longer match. ****
