Administrative View – What’s at risk, what’s cleared, and what needs attention
As you're seeing here, we are looking at the administrative view for our financial clearance workflow module. In the workflow tool, you're going to be able to see based upon the representative, the number of appointments that are assigned to those representatives based off the work list. You can see appointments; you can see how much they've gotten through on those. You can see if something is attention required, if it's at risk, or if it's cleared. So cleared is going to be what is the green pie chart when I continue this demo. And what you see shortly at risk is going to be the yellow portion in that pie chart. And attention required is going to be the red portion of that pie chart F you want to see additional more granular detail.

Viewing a Work List - What's been assigned to me?
You can come here to financial clearance by work list and it will show you the exact work list name and the same detail and information here. So to work in a work list, you simply double click on the work list name and what that's going to do is going to launch the work list view for us to see so that we can understand the number of claims and patients that are on our work list to financially clear prior to their data service. As you come in here and you start to see the financial clearance workless view, there will be a pie chart up here. Anything that's yellow is at risk. Anything that is red is going to be attention required. Anything is green is going to be that the patient has cleared the account. You will see again many columns here and the end user can drag and drop and sort these in any order they want to.

Configuring a Work List
Again, they have the column chooser in which you can remove any columns that are not applicable. I can come in here and I can filter down appointment dates. If I want to work a specific data service, I can do that. Then I can also continue to clear any of the columns that I've sorted by this X. It clears all filters. If you want to look at resource or location, you can do that as well. You can work these in any order you want to as you're working the claim. You can either double click on the name on the account, or you can simply come here to the action tab. When you come to the action tab, you're going to get some basic appointment information here. Demographics, you will be able to add a task and work task if you need to for this account. And then as you scroll down here, you'll start to see the clearance checks. With this being a bolt-on PM system, you will also have some other tabs here. So account, which will display your patient insurance information and your demographic information. But that will be it. You will not be able to check eligibility directly from here or make any changes if you are bolting financial clearance onto a non-MedEvolve PM.

Check Eligibility with MedEvolve PM
If you have MedEvolve PM, you would be able to add insurance, re-sequence insurance, check eligibility, update anything here within the workflow tool, and it'll go back to the MedEvolve PM in five to 10 seconds. If it's a me PM client, you can see any future appointments that are scheduled as well. If it's a bolt on client, there would not be any information displayed here either. Back to the action tab, this is where you're going to do the work. So for eligibility as an end user, I'm going to determine if it is active or inactive. And once I've done that, I'm going to check the appropriate box and press complete. At that point, you see that that clearance check has been completed and you can see who completed the check and what date that check was completed on. I'm going to continue to go through here and say that the coordination of benefits was correct.

View the Checklist
The patient was in network. Yes, there's a coplay and I've updated it. The relationship to the holder was correct. This is not a workers' comp or an MDA case. So I'm going to mark that. I did review the demographics, they are correct. There was no authorization required for this account, so that's correct. And then there was no patient liability or past due collections. So I have completed this information for this patient and now you see you come back up here at the top and the patient has been cleared. Then you would simply move on to the next patient on the work list and continuing to work to clear those patients financially. So we do not have risk for patients coming in with inactive insurance or anything of that nature. I hope this video has been useful and enlightening to you and we will talk again soon. Thank you.
